Like most of the breeders we know, we started breeding 'accidentally'.  Our first cat was a British Blue Girl.  We had been looking for a boy but could not find one anywhere.  Fortunately we came across a breeder who had two little girls that had been reserved but the new owners had changed their minds... we were there like a shot!

Coojikat Sea Witch (Chloe) came into our lives... but we still had no intention of breeding.  When Chloe was 18 months old we decided it would be nice to "just let her have one litter".  I can still picture the mocking look on the stud owners face when we uttered those words.

Chloe's first boyfriend was Champion Kernmere Royal Salute, known to his friends as Charlie.  He didn't know what hit him when Chloe walked through his cat flap!  In due course Chloe gave birth to four beautiful little girls.. and we were hooked!

Our first litter (well Chloe's!) were born in April 1995 and cats have taken over our lives.  We now have eighteen cats and wouldn't be without them....
